Manipulating belief systems is one of the most crafty but effective tactics used by the rulers to control the commoners. Rather than completely denying the spirituality and consciousness of the commoners, the rulers pretend to understand them while subtly suppressing them by controlling their religion, thoughts, speech, and actions. This is because, the beautifully decorated crafty and witty rhetoric that rulers emit is designed to easily penetrate the hearts and minds of commoners and make it easier for them to become subservient.
The words coined by the rulers appeal to the innate urges and desires of each commoner to realize their mental or physical potential. As a result, commoners become under the illusion that if they submit to the rulers, they will be protected, that they will be able to live a stable, free and equal life, and that nature and the earth will also be saved. However, these neologisms are simply a device to attract the masses and to guide the commoners into the social trend intended by the rulers. Furthermore, until the ruler’s never-ending ambitions are fulfilled, the commoners end their lives in a closed-off state, tormented by guilt-trapping.
In other words, the original sin that is said to be latent in each commoner has allowed the parasitism of the rulers, justified their lies, enabled their exploitation, and aided their destruction, manipulation, and murder. The rulers are inverting and confusing all truths to the point where it is nearly impossible for the commoners to find direction and possibilities rooted in the life they are endowed with. Furthermore, since the commoners are born with a burden of sin, and will be bound for the rest of their lives by the ruler’s self-righteous logic, which requires them to spend their lives paying the price in order to regain their innocence.
For example, the WEF is calling on world leaders to introduce carbon taxes by 2030 as part of the Great Reset for humanity. Additionally, they advocate criminalizing Ecocide and prosecuting and punishing those who harm the environment in various fields such as agriculture and fishing. Ecocide is a word coined from the combination of ecology and genocide, and refers to the destruction of ecosystems and the environment.
There are many things to criticize about this WEF agenda.
1. As most sane experts have proven, carbon is not the cause of the Earth’s greenhouse effect. If there is such a global greenhouse effect, methane gas generated during oil drilling in states such as Oklahoma and Texas has a far greater impact than carbon dioxide.
2. The ambiguity in setting legal standards for environmental pollution levels, carbon emissions, etc. cannot be dispelled.
3. Demands such as abolishing rice cultivation and asking cows to stop burping are absurd and unreasonable.
By the way, I wrote in my previous diary on the theme that if we allow rulers to seize farmland, abolish rice cultivation, and monopolize water rights, common society will be in an existential crisis, so please refer to that.
4. Taxes are simply fines for the commoners’ daily lives and survival, and are merely a means of balancing the lending and borrowing relationship between the money issued by the rulers and the money that flows into the commoner society.
5. Even if global warming exists, it is unclear how the carbon taxes can solve it.
In any case, the circulation of oxygen and carbon dioxide by living things and plants is an innate mechanism of the earth. Therefore, the commoners should never be allowed to be tagged as criminals from birth through this legal restraint that will be imposed by the rulers. However, as always, the rulers are plotting to control the common people mentally, consciously, and physically by instilling a sense of guilt in them using fancy rhetoric and deception such as “to save humanity and the earth”.
Cultural anthropologist Ruth Benedict (1887~1948) was commissioned by the U.S. War Information Agency to research Japan during World War II, and published the results of her research in her book, The Chrysanthemum and the Sword: Patterns of Japanese Culture (1946). The chrysanthemum is the emblem of the imperial family, so it means Japan, and the sword is used to represent Bushido.
In her previous work, Patterns of Culture (1934), Benedict presented the analytical concept of culture in anthropology. There are three types of analytical concepts for classifying various cultures:
1. Guilt society or guilt culture
2. Shame society or shame culture and honor/shame culture
3. Fear society or culture of fear
This classification is also said to apply especially to Apollonian societies. In other words, it is a social classification according to the emotions that control individuals, allowing us to analyze how social order is maintained and how it induces obedience and compliance to norms. The differences is said to be able to apply to how behavior is governed with respect to government laws, business rules, or social etiquette.
As a side note, it was Nietzsche who called the chaotic will that desires Dionysian, and the attempt to order it through reason as Apollonian. Plato aims to live a better life by formalizing and controlling intoxication and decadence, which is the will to desire (Dionysus), through reason (Apollo). Christianity attempts to destroy the will to desire itself, and aims for liberation from the ego and a life of asceticism. However, rather than controlling or eliminating the will to desire, Nietzsche chooses the third option of affirming and accepting it, and living in its midst. This is the Hymn to Dionysus, which runs through Nietzsche’s philosophy.
Let’s get back to the original story.
In her book The Chrysanthemum and the Sword, Benedict analyzed this cultural concept by applying it to a concrete object, Japanese society. And she described Japanese culture as the “Shame Culture” and contrasted it with the “Guilt Culture” of the West.
1. Guilt society or guilt culture
In a guilt society, control is maintained by creating and continually reinforcing the feelings of guilt for certain behaviors that are condemned. While a feeling of guilt is generated, a premonition of punishment in this life or after death is also derived. Therefore, in a guilt society, attention is paid to the laws and punishments associated with maintaining social order, and also to individual conscience.
In a guilt society, the primary method of social control is to inculcate feelings of guilt for behaviors that the individual believes to be undesirable. On the other hand, a characteristic of a guilt society is that there are authorized provisions for release from guilt for certain behaviors, regardless of the facts. And the opportunity to manipulate the conditions of guilt and the forgiveness of guilt are controlled by the rulers, as they have the rights to impose fines and penalties.
Guilt is the feeling that arises when an individual violates his or her absolute moral standards or violates his or her conscience. An individual may suffer from feelings of guilt even though no one knows about the wrongdoing he or she has committed. In order to escape from that pressure, they try to alleviate their guilt by confessing their wrongdoings or making reparations. In other words, a guilt culture relies on conviction of guilt that will be derived internally in individuals who awaken to good behavior, rather than relying on external sanctions. Therefore, a guilt culture emphasizes punishment and forgiveness as a way to restore moral order, whether in a society or an individual. This can be seen in Dostoyevsky’s novel Crime and Punishment.
As can be seen from the overview of the culture of sin, the reason why the West emphasizes inner conscience is because religious precepts exist in the Christian code of conduct. In other words, living a life based on the absolute norm of acting faithful to the God who exists in your heart. On the other hand, it is said that when one violates the precepts, one feels a strong sense of guilt.
2. Shame society or shame culture and honor/shame culture
In a shame society, an individual or society is based on a concept of pride and honor relative to the judgment of those around them. Therefore, self-denial accompanied by humility and cooperation as members of the community are emphasized as a way of life that continues or restores social order. If an individual disrupts community coordination, he or she faces the threat of shame and ostracism, and may be deprived of most support from community members.
Now, Benedict defined Japan as a shame society, and she used the following materials as clues for her analysis.
* Interviews with second-generation Japanese-Americans
* Report from the Japanese American internment camp
* English-translated novels such as Natsume Soseki’s “Botchan”
* Newspapers, popular movies, military propaganda
Based on these materials, Benedict pointed out the existence of the class system as a premise of Japanese culture and Japanese behavior.
Benedict uses the emerging rich as an example, and saying that Japanese society places its faith in order and hierarchical relationships, and the idea of riches always has a negative connotation. On the other hand, American society believed in freedom and equality, and Nouveau Riche was analyzed to have both positive and negative connotations. She assessed that Japanese society places its trust in hierarchical relationships, which form the basis of family, nation, faith, and economic activities.
Benedict considered that while Western countries place importance on one’s inner conscience (a guilt culture), Japan is more concerned with what others think of one’s appearance and external opinion (a shame culture). The difference between the two is based on whether the source of normative regulation of behavior lies within the self (conscience) or outside the self (the world).
Benedict seems to have thought that a shame culture is heteronomous and inferior to a guilt (sin) culture, which is autonomous in its moral values. However, it would be premature to view the Japanese shame culture as passive and closed-minded, with each individual controlling his or her own behavior for fear of being criticized or ridiculed by others.
It is true that in polytheistic Japan, absolute loyalty and consciousness towards Shinto and Buddhism may not be as strong as in Europe and USA. However, on the other hand, it is said that it is the public eye that evaluates each individual. For Japan’s shame culture, feeling shame is a sincere response to criticism from those around you, whether or not you actually receive the criticism. By believing that there is an external pressure that urges us to judge right from wrong and discern injustice, it serves as a driving force to properly regulate and guide an individual’s attitude and way of life.
In Japan’s shame culture, customs related to hierarchical relationships are strictly observed, so the importance of gratitude as a moral principle has naturally permeated Japanese society. Fundamentally supporting this hierarchical relationship are the idea of “gratitude”, the duty of “obligation”, and the culture of “shame”. In Japan, each person has a strong will and belief that, as a member of society, they must fulfill their responsibilities in their own fields.
In addition, the desire to ascend to the next stage, which is rooted in the Buddhist spirit, and the attitude of contributing to society through personal ingenuity are proof that each person actively strives to fulfill the mission in life given to them. However, shame in Japan is an individual’s feeling of reparation and atonement towards society, when this cannot be achieved due to the individual’s responsibility. Therefore, Japan’s shame culture is not inferior to Western guilt culture.
For example, in the case of a samurai, it is the shame if he fails to accomplish his mission or task due to lack of ability and effort, or due to misconduct. Unlike the Western guilt culture, samurai cannot easily ask for forgiveness or resign. Therefore, the samurai readily admits his guilt, cuts his stomach, and atones for his fault. In short, a samurai approaches the area assigned to him as if it were a battlefield where life and death are at stake.
Hagakure (circa 1716) is a book that contains the principles and spirit of Bushido.
At the beginning it says: “Realized that Bushido means dying. There are times in life when you are forced to make a choice. In such a case, you should choose death without hesitation. There’s no need to worry about anything.”
3. Fear society or culture of fear
In a fear society, fear of retaliation maintains control. The rulers target the mind and body, and the common people are forced to submit due to fear and threat. The near-future social system that rulers are currently aiming for is to strip the commoners of their freedom and sovereignty and implement totalitarian rule.
As a tactic, rulers actively use political correctness, or control of language and thought. An example of political correctness is restricting one’s ability to speak and think freely by reducing the number of words available in one’s vocabulary. It can be called intolerance disguised as tolerance and fascism disguised as manners.
Political correctness is said to be a Rothschild invention of language control, the purpose of which is to reduce the scope of free thought. So it is based on the Rothschild ideologies of Marxism, communism, and collectivism, which are applied to control the commoner societies. Rockefeller controls the Comintern, so on the same side. Therefore, the rulers use stakeholders and social engineers to tighten their control over language and thought through political correctness, tightening the grip on the commoners.
In fact, the rulers are using cultural appropriation to implement deceptive political correctness that defines culturally acceptable thoughts, words, and actions. This is to strengthen the system of control based on eugenics.
The rulers are truly admirable because they are so good at disguising and captivating the minds of the common people. Advertising slogans use words such as saving, peace, and aiding, and unwary commoners end up becoming dupes without realizing it.
For example, the persecution of freedom of speech by the rulers can be seen in the censorship and ban on posting the truth, which was tightened to an extremely unreasonable level during the virus turmoil. Furthermore, the definitions of immunity, vaccines, etc. were revised to make them more convenient for the rulers. Also, aggressive expressions may be changed to softer phrases, such as from overweight or obese to people of size.
Political correctness is a covert operation to subvert each local culture to collectivism in order to achieve cultural Marxism. The following slow brainwashing process is said to be implemented in order to transform from individualistic cultures.
1. Declining morale
2. Destabilization
3. Crisis
4. Violent change and normalization
Furthermore, the rulers are intentionally leading the commoners into a society of fear by deploying psychological operations that hurt them with a sense of guilt and shame.
Shame and guilt-tripping are emotional manipulation tactics in which someone attempts to make another person feel shame or guilt for their actions or decisions. It is said to be a form of passive-aggressiveness that occurs when you don’t have the skills or language to actively communicate your needs and feelings. As political correctness reduces the number of words available in our vocabulary, these must be seen as a complex psychological operation by the rulers.
Making an individual feel responsible for pain and suffering induced by shame and guilt is a powerful device for the rulers to get that individual to do what they want. Strategies include using passive-aggressive language, emotional appeals, or instilling a sense of obligation. It is said that these strategies can have a significant psychological impact on those subjected to them on a regular basis.
Below are some examples of Shame and Guilt-tripping tactics.
1. Emotional guilt-tripping
* Emotional manipulation
* Accusations and accusations
* Emotional blackmail
2. Psychological guilt-tripping
* Play the role of victim
* Manipulative language
The social customs of a guilt society rooted in Christianity, which seeks redemption based on the inner sense of sin, and the social customs of a shame society, where the conflict between self and social pressure is the source of normative regulation; Regardless of their affiliation, psychological operations against the commoners have always given the rulers advantages.
What the rulers are aiming for is the realization of the One World based on a society of fear.
According to Benedict, those who advocate “one world” can only establish a policy of good neighborliness if they assume a uniform world. (Omitted) However, demanding such uniformity as a condition for respecting other citizens is no more unrealistic than demanding the same of one’s wife and children.
Therefore, it is clear that Benedict is not seeking uniformity, where the world becomes one by eliminating each unique culture. In other words, she is appealing to her readers to learn how to respect differences by being aware of culture rather than the uniformity of the world.
Hope that the rulers will retreat from the invasion and destruction of commoner cultures, and that one day all living things and nature on earth will be able to coexist in harmony and peace.
Sincerely grateful for your financial support.
